What stage of the process am I on and how is it progressing? How or what could I improve?
--I am currently working in a material phase. I'm making more materials for the same objects, that way we can utilize more of our assets. I have to make some more grunge graffiti decals/materials to give sections of our map a slightly different feel.
Did I change my milestone goals? If so, why?
--My goals are still the same and running at a good pace.
How did i deal with the problems that came up?
--The problems i kept running into was that i would build and place static meshes within the level meanwhile someone else was doing the same thing to a version they had, and we would drop various versions of the map. It became repetitive because i would scrap my version and work of someone else's but by the time i was done placing, someone else had made changes and saved out the map. So i would constantly replace the same objects. This past week eric and i came up with a good idea where each person gets a day of the week to make changes/additions to the map while others built assets
What is working and what is not working in the planning and implementation of the project?
--The team is still working together great
Briefly describe your time spent and any problems (within the team, with a computer, etc)
--I've lost count on hours spent on the game, it seams like every time my computer is open i'm adding things, making materials or trying different effects. I had a little problem with the collisions of the quarter pipes i made but turns out the easiest way to handle that particular object was building the bounds in 3DSMAX. the only other real problem was that of which i discussed earlier.
Evaluate the project as a whole including team members
--I love our game, i love my team and i honestly believe we will have one of the better games created in the class. and it will make a great portfolio piece. I have let a few of my friends play test the game so i can hear their outside opinion and see where the most difficult areas are.
